Thematic maps (3º ESO)

Project on Landscapes
( Social Sciences and English)

We have also included in our bilingual section the works our students have done for both ,Social Sciences and English . Once more, our aim was that they work cooperatively and collaboratively in the elaboration of advertising posters in English usig different digital formats ( they could be videos ,PPTs, web pages. advertising brochures, etc) . They should describe a place in the world representing the different landscapes existing in our planet which they had previously studied in Social Sciences, that is: the savannah, the rainforest, the jungle, the polar landscape and the mediterranean forest.
So, pupils chose a place, looked for information about it described the climate, the fauna and flora and added some kind of information for the tourist regarding accommodation, suitabale clothes to take with them, what they could visit and do there, etc

Their final outcomes are the ones you can see below, which in my opinion deserve a lot of credit and are really worthy of acknowledgement.
We hope you enjoy them!!!!

Final Glogsters about Egypt and the Nile
(Social Sciences)
Social Sciences, Spanish Language and English teachers have put into practice again  this year the Integrated Didactic Unit we devised last year. It took the topic of Environment as a starting point to analyse how the human being can  benefit from  natural disaster. This is the case of Egyptians who used  each year floods to grow up their  crops. Students have to work in groups and the the final outcome is  a Glogster in which several aspects of Egyptian culture are worked. Below you can enjoy some of them:
